This first-ever edition SSL Gold Cup, like the Football World Cup but in Sailing, will be divided into two sessions: Qualifying Series and Final Series.
All teams ranked from Top 25 to 56 in January 2022 SSL Nations ranking will go through Continental Qualifying Series in May, June, and July 2022 in Neuchatel Lake in Grandson (Switzerland).
Only the Top 2 of each group will go through Final Series (see Matchboard below).
