The Netherlands is also on the up, moving up to fifth at the expense of Italy.

Spain’s rise has been thanks to Jordi Xammar Hernandez (SSL #9) and Javier De La Plaza (SSL #22) moving up the SSL Global Skipper and Crew rankings respectively.

The USA’s rise is down to Peter Duncan (SSL #10) in the SSL Global Skipper ranking, and Victor Diaz de Leon (SSL #1) and Willem van Waay (SSL #6) continuing to perform exceptionally in the SSL Global Crew ranking.

The Netherlands are continuing their climb up the SSL Nations Ranking thanks to strong performances from Odile Van Aanholt (SSL #4) and Bart Lambriex (SSL #7) in the SSL Global Skipper ranking as well as Annette Duetz (SSL #5) and Floris Van de Werken (SSL #) in the SSL Global Crew ranking. If a couple more Dutch skippers find form, then they could well be challenging for the top spot in the ranking, a position which has been held by Great Britain for a while now.

The SSL Nations Ranking is calculated by adding the top five ranked Skippers and top two ranked Crew from each Nation in the SSL Global Ranking, to give a points total. The lower the total, the higher your Nation is ranked.
